Soon after its establishment, QF signed an agreement with Ministry of Women Development and youth Affairs, Government of Pakistan for establishing a computer center in Bhakkar city. This project helped as a stepping stone for QF to establish itself. A house was rented where computer center was established along with office of QF. Computer instructor and an accountant were hired and a formal welfare business started. Originally 5 computers were sanctioned, but Qadir Foundation with its own additional resources established the center with 13 computers. It was an air conditioned center having M.Sc. computer science instructor was engaged to take regular. Computer Science instructor was assisted by another diploma holder instructor. This was the 1st computer training center established in Bhakkar. This became very popular in the young generation. At one point of time1925 boys and girls students were admitted in this center. Recently, the computer lab has been upgraded with30 new generation computers with state of the art furniture, overhead projector internet and other related facilities. This Computer Literacy and training center has been affiliated with Virtual University, TEVTA Punjab Lahore and National Training Bureau (NTB) for accredited training. The computer center is providing training to 25 male female students with the assistance of Punjab Skills Development Program (PSDP). Students are given scholarships, free uniform and books. Project is running with great zeal and enthusiasm among young generation.
